We are seeking an experienced diesel mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines, trucks, and heavy equipment including but not limited to bucket trucks, digger derrick trucks, T&D pulling equipment, etc. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of diesel engine components and be able to diagnose and troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance on diesel engines, trucks, and heavy equipment, including oil changes, filter replacements, and brake adjustments
• Diagnose and repair diesel engine malfunctions, including fuel system issues, electrical problems, and mechanical failures
• Perform diagnostic tests using specialized tools and equipment
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on equipment
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding equipment issues and repairs
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a Class A CDL
• Willing to travel on a regular basis
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine components and systems
• Ability to diagnose and repair diesel engine malfunctions
• Familiarity with aerial equipment such as bucket and digger trucks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
